PIP (Protective Industrial Products) was founded in 1984 in New York's Capital Region, built on the idea that a distributor could grow into a world-class manufacturer in its own right, starting with hand protection. Four decades of growth — including the acquisitions of West Chester Protective Gear and Boss®, and long-running technology partnerships with ATG® and JSP® — turned PIP into one of the largest independent PPE houses in the industry, with a portfolio spanning gloves, hi-vis workwear, disposable protective clothing, fall protection, eyewear and head protection, sold through distributors, retailers and wholesalers worldwide.
